Strategy first. Then spend.
Paid media for better business. Not just clicks.
Getting attention is one thing. Turning it into a worthwhile conversation is another. We plan, create, and manage paid campaigns around the customers you actually want.
The campaign, connected
The click is the beginning.
- 01 AudienceThe people worth reaching.
- 02 MessageA reason to choose you.
- 03 Next stepA page that follows through.

Paid media, with the rest connected
An ad can't do the whole job.
Hudson South plans and manages paid advertising across Google, Facebook and Instagram, LinkedIn, and ChatGPT, with retargeting and other channels where they fit.
But the platform is only part of the decision. What are you offering? Who should respond? Does the page give them enough reason to take the next step?
We look at those pieces together. That means campaign planning, creative and copy, audience testing, ongoing optimization, and reporting that helps you decide what to do next.
The channels
Different platforms. Different jobs.
You do not need to be everywhere. You need a reason for every place you pay to be.
01
Google Ads
Reach people looking for what you do.
We build search campaigns around relevant intent, service areas, and the offers you want to grow. Ad copy, search-term review, exclusions, and the destination page all have a part to play.
The question: Is this the search you want to pay for?
02
Facebook & Instagram
Give the right people a reason to stop.
We develop creative and copy, test audiences and messages, and connect the ad to a useful next step. The aim is not attention for its own sake. It is an inquiry your business can use.
The question: Does the message attract the right customer?
03
LinkedIn Ads
Put your offer in a business context.
For business-to-business campaigns, we can use professional targeting such as company, industry, and role. We match the message and next step to the people involved in the buying decision.
The question: Are we reaching the people who influence the purchase?
04
ChatGPT Ads
A paid presence while people look at options.
We plan and manage eligible ChatGPT campaigns around the offer, relevant context, creative, and destination page. This is paid advertising, not a way to purchase a mention in the answer itself.
Subject to account eligibility, market availability, and platform policies.
05
Retargeting
Give interested people a reason to return.
We build follow-up campaigns for eligible audiences who have already engaged with your business. The message can address an unanswered question or bring the offer back into view, rather than repeat the first ad forever.
Audience eligibility, privacy choices, and platform restrictions apply.
06
Other paid channels
Add a channel for a reason. Not for the logo.
Some campaigns call for a different way to reach people. We assess the audience, available placements, creative requirements, and measurement before adding another channel to the plan.
The question: What would this add that the current mix does not?
A clear distinction: a ChatGPT ad is labeled paid placement, separate from the organic answer. Paying for advertising does not buy an AI recommendation or citation. How OpenAI describes its ads
Start with the business problem
What needs to change?
A few ways the starting point can change. Choose the situation closest to yours.
A search-led starting point
Start with the search.
Assess Google Search around the services, locations, and inquiries you actually want. Then make sure the page answers that search and gives the right person a clear way to respond.
Before more spend: review the search terms, exclusions, offer, and destination. A click from the wrong search is still the wrong click.
Google Search · Relevant landing page
A creative-led starting point
Make the offer understandable.
Assess Facebook and Instagram for an offer that needs to be introduced or explained. Test the reason to care, not just the image, and make the next step fit how ready the audience is.
Before more spend: check that the creative and copy tell the same story, and that the form or page does not ask for too much too soon.
Facebook & Instagram · Creative testing
A business-audience starting point
Start with the buying decision.
Assess LinkedIn alongside relevant search demand. Define the companies and roles involved, then decide whether the useful next step is a conversation, a resource, or a more detailed page.
Before more spend: check the size of the reachable audience and whether the offer matters to the people being targeted.
LinkedIn · Search where relevant
A retargeting starting point
Give the next visit a purpose.
Assess whether you have eligible, usable audiences and a clear follow-up message. A return visit should help someone decide, not just remind them that your business exists.
Before more spend: review audience eligibility and privacy requirements, exclusions, and whether the destination answers what may have stopped the first inquiry.
Eligible audiences · Follow-up creative
Illustrative starting points, not a personalized media plan. We validate audience, budget, channel access, and page readiness before recommending a campaign.
The Hudson South difference
Your ad should sound like the business behind it.
We do content for a reason: what a business knows, how it explains things, and why someone should choose it matter. Paid media puts that thinking to work in another place. An ad should not sound like one company while the page sounds like another. And a page should not leave someone hunting for the answer the ad promised.
When paid media and our content program run together, our four-step system gives the campaign a shared foundation.
Authority Asset
Know the business.
For the campaign The knowledge, proof, and customer questions that make the message specific.
Hudson Twenty-One
Keep the voice.
For the campaign A documented voice profile that keeps the ad and the page sounding like you.
Market Intelligence
Understand the market.
For the campaign The audiences, locations, alternatives, and gaps worth investigating.
AEO Creation
Make the answer clear.
For the campaign Clear, useful content people can act on and search and AI systems can understand.
Paid media can stand on its own. A content program is not a requirement.
What we handle
The work behind the campaign.
Not just getting ads live. Making informed decisions after they are.
- 01
Campaign planning
Define the goal, the offer, the audience, and what counts as a useful response. Review the current setup before deciding what to keep or change.
- 02
Creative and copywriting
Build the message and the creative together. Give people a clear reason to pay attention and a next step that fits the offer.
- 03
Audience and message testing
Test meaningful differences in who sees the ad and what it says. Avoid changing everything at once and then guessing what helped.
- 04
The page after the click
Review whether the page or form supports the ad. Identify missing answers, unclear offers, and friction before sending more people through it.
- 05
Ongoing optimization
Review performance, refine the campaign, and shift budget toward what the results support. Keep questioning whether the original plan still makes sense.
- 06
Clear, transparent reporting
Explain what ran, what it cost, what happened, and what changes next. Bring your lead-quality feedback into the discussion.
Measure what the numbers mean
A click is not a client.
We keep the stages separate. And we tell you what the data can actually support.
- 01 Ad activityWhat did the campaign deliver?
Spend. Impressions. Clicks. Reported conversions.
- 02 Inquiry qualityWas the response worth having?
Relevant inquiries. Qualified leads. Appointments, when trackable.
- 03 Business outcomesWhat happened after the inquiry?
Customer outcomes, where your tracking and feedback support them.
Platform attribution is not the whole customer journey. Outcome reporting depends on the tracking available and what your team can confirm.
Before we talk
Good questions. Straight answers.
The channels matter. So do the details of how we work.
What is paid media management?
Paid media management is the planning, creation, launch, and ongoing improvement of paid advertising. At Hudson South, that includes channel selection, campaign structure, ad creative and copy, audience testing, performance review, and clear reporting. We also look at the page or form an ad sends people to, rather than treating the click as the finish line.
Which advertising platforms do you manage?
We manage campaigns across Google, Facebook and Instagram, LinkedIn, and ChatGPT, along with retargeting on suitable platforms. The mix depends on your audience, offer, budget, and available targeting. ChatGPT campaigns are subject to advertiser eligibility, supported markets, and platform policies. Other paid channels are considered when there is a clear reason to include them.
How do you decide where our budget should go?
We start with what you sell, who buys it, where you compete, and what a worthwhile inquiry looks like. Then we assess the channels, your existing results, and the page or form people will use. A focused test is more useful than spreading a budget across platforms simply to say you are on all of them.
Can you improve campaigns we are already running?
Yes. We can review the current account structure, audiences, search terms where available, creative, destination pages, and measurement setup. We look for what is worth keeping as well as what needs to change. The starting point is the evidence in the account, not an assumption that everything must be rebuilt.
Do you handle ad creative and landing pages?
Ad creative and copywriting are part of our paid media work. We also review whether the destination page supports the offer and makes the next step clear. Any new landing-page design, development, or substantial content work is defined in the proposal, so you know what is included before it starts.
Do we need to buy a content program, too?
Paid media can be a standalone engagement or work alongside a Hudson South content program. When they run together, the same business knowledge and Hudson Twenty-One voice profile can inform the ad, the landing page, and the supporting content. We recommend the work the campaign needs, not an extra service just to fill a package.
How will we know whether the leads are any good?
We agree on what makes an inquiry useful to your business, then review that alongside the campaign numbers. Spend, clicks, and cost per lead are a starting point. With your feedback and the right tracking, we can also examine qualified inquiries, appointments, and customer outcomes. We distinguish what the platforms report from what your team confirms.
How much should we spend, and how quickly will we see results?
There is no single budget or timeline that fits every business. We discuss your market, customer value, sales cycle, current setup, and the amount of testing needed. Ad spend and management scope are discussed separately. We do not promise a specific lead count, cost per lead, or return before there is evidence to support it.
Is a ChatGPT ad the same as being recommended in an AI answer?
No. A ChatGPT ad is a paid placement, labeled and kept separate from the answer itself. Paying for an ad does not buy a recommendation or citation in ChatGPT's organic response. Hudson South's content work and its paid media work address different opportunities, even when they support the same business goal.
Let's look at the whole picture
Before you spend more, let's talk about what needs to work.
Already running ads? Starting from scratch? Tell us what you sell, who you want to reach, and what is not working. We'll talk through where paid media fits, what needs attention first, and whether Hudson South is the right team to help.
