How it works

Four steps, in the same order, every time.

We research what your buyers ask, write the answers in your voice and publish them on your site, so ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI features have a clear reason to name your business. Every engagement runs on the same four steps. No one can promise an assistant will name you; the steps exist to give it every reason to.

  1. Step one

    Authority Asset

Find the expertise your business already has that your website does not show.

Every business has knowledge it has never written down: the process it has refined over years, the thing it explains to every new customer, the answer nobody wrote down. That is the raw material buyers and AI systems are looking for, and it is usually missing from the site. This step finds it and records it. More on what an Authority Asset is.

    What you do
Point us to what your team already knows and the materials you already give customers.
    What you get
A written record of that expertise, the source everything else is built from.
  2. Step two

    Hudson Twenty-One

Analyze how your business communicates, across 21 dimensions.

Sentence rhythm, vocabulary, how you handle objections, how you open and close, how you explain something complicated to someone who is nervous about it. We analyze those patterns and write them down, so every page sounds like the same company and none of it sounds generic. See what Hudson Twenty-One looks at.

    What you do
Share what your business has already put in front of customers.
    What you get
The Twenty-One profile, a written specification of how your business sounds. You keep it.
  3. Step three

    Market Intelligence

Research the market you compete in: what people ask, what competitors answered, and what nobody has covered.

Local businesses get city pages built on real local detail. National brands get the same work across segments, product lines or buyer roles. Either way, the research decides what gets written and in what order, so the first pages published are the ones most likely to matter.

    What you do
Tell us where you sell and who you sell to.
    What you get
A researched map of the questions to answer, in priority order.
  4. Step four

    AEO Creation

Produce the content and structure it so AI systems can pull from it.

Clear answers near the top, specific evidence, named expertise, and the technical setup that lets a machine understand what it is reading. Pages and posts are published, not handed over as drafts. Each one is an answer asset: a piece built to answer one real buyer question directly, so the answer can be lifted and quoted on its own.

    What you do
Review each piece before it goes live.
    What you get
Published pages and posts, live on your site.

What gets produced

One library of answers, used everywhere

Everything comes from the same research and the same voice profile, so your website, your email and your social channels all say the same thing.

  • Articles

Each answers one real customer question directly in its first two sentences.

  • Service pages

What you do, explained the way your team explains it, with the questions buyers ask before they call.

  • City pages

Local pages with researched local detail. National brands get segment pages instead.

  • Question pages

One question per page, answered fully, so it can be found and quoted on its own.

  • Email

Newsletters and follow-ups in the same voice as the site.

  • Social posts

Short pieces drawn from the published library, so every channel says the same thing.

Two ways to run it

Run the four steps once, or keep them running

Content project

All four steps, end to end, in 30 to 60 days

  • Pages and posts produced and published, then the project is finished
  • You keep everything, including the Twenty-One profile at handoff
  • Fixed fee, agreed before anything starts
  • Market exclusivity is not included

Monthly retainer

Content published every week from day one

  • Steps three and four repeat every week; we handle the research, writing and calendar
  • About 30 minutes a month of your time on smaller plans, more on larger ones
  • A visibility report on a defined question set run across AI platforms, with competitor comparison on larger plans
  • The Twenty-One profile is refined against your first three months of work, then handed over
  • Month to month, with market exclusivity on most plans

Starting prices for both are on our pricing page. Websites follow the same four steps too: every Hudson Deed site is built from them.

Before anything publishes

You review it. We check it. Then we publish it.

  • Facts are checked first. Every factual claim is checked against a primary source before a piece comes to you for review. Here is how the accuracy review works.
  • You approve every piece. Nothing goes live until you have reviewed it, and we handle the publishing.
  • Regulated fields get sign-off. In law, health care and financial services, your licensed professional or compliance staff approves what is published. We do not give legal, medical or financial advice.

Questions

Common questions about the process

Do I have to write anything?

No. We handle the research, the writing and the calendar, so there is no writer for you to manage. Your part is pointing us to what your team knows and reviewing each piece before it goes live.

Why do the steps always run in the same order?

Each step feeds the next. The Authority Asset gives the content something true to say, Hudson Twenty-One makes it sound like you, Market Intelligence decides which questions come first, and AEO Creation turns all of it into published pages.

Can you promise ChatGPT or Google will name my business?

No one can promise that. The four steps give AI systems clear, specific, well-structured answers from your business, which is the best reason we can give them to name you.

Who owns the content and the profile?

You do. On a project, you keep everything at handoff, including the Twenty-One profile. On a retainer, every piece is published on your own site and stays yours, and the profile is refined against your first three months of published work and then handed over.

Where do I start?

With a free 30-minute call. We compare your site with your competitors' and walk you through the gaps, and then we can talk about a project, a retainer, or neither.
